After a long and highly successful, international career operating at senior director level within the specialist textile industry, I was made redundant in September 2009.

On 15 October 2009, I was referred to Northern Employment Services by my JCP advisor at Rochdale onto the Jobsearch Support programme.

I have to say that being taken through the Jobsearch programme by Northern Employment Services was an enlightening, constructive, and highly informative experience which was delivered in an extremely professional manner.

I was given excellent advice on modern job searching techniques and given comprehensive lists of job boards and job sites that were specific to my industry and background. I was shown how to improve my CV by manipulation and rearrangement of its contents to produce a highly improved document.

I would highly recommend the Jobsearch programme through Northern Employment Services to anyone.

But my experience with Northern Employment Services doesn't end here.

Following my Jobsearch meeting, I was subsequently interviewed by Jessica Dean a Recruitment Consultant at Northern Employment Services and my CV (improved version) was submitted to a textile company in the area.

I am delighted to say that following intensive interviews (which I was supported and coached through by Jessica), I was offered the position of Quality and Technical Manager with an excellent salary and benefits package. I commenced employment on 4th January 2010.

Recently this story has come full circle because I am now in the position whereby I am recruiting through Northern Employment Services and I have this week appointed another of their candidates as a Product Technologist who commenced employment on 22nd March 2010.

I would not hesitate in recommending Northern Employment Services for any of the services they provide.
