Account Manager - Accessories

Negotiable Per Year

Permanent - Full Time

On behalf of our client, we are looking to recruit an experienced Account Manager with Merchandising experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to work one of the company’s key customers with lots of potential to develop this major high street retail account.

Responsibilities will include:

• Working daily on critical path for the full year
• Ensure critical path dates are met for sealing samples / packaging spec / technical reports
• Chasing designers to ensure they meet deadlines in order for them to arrange the presentation meetings
• Arranging costing’s in time for presentation
• Working closely with the factories in the Far East
* Developing business / different area's with the customers business
• Attending weekly work meeting in London once per week, updating the customer on progress of orders and issues to be discussed and finalised as quickly and efficiently as possible in order to deliver the goods as scheduled

The successful candidate

• Must have previous account management experience along with merchandising experience
• Must have sound understanding and working knowledge of critical path
• Must be highly numerate
• It would be desirable to have worked in accessories
• Must be an excellent communicator both via telephone and in person
